Character description.
One of the first things users pay attention to. However, the first thing people notice is the profile picture. What is a profile picture?
A profile picture is their face. Just as a cover is the face of a book. People are judged by their appearance and only then by their intellect. Look at your interaction counter. With a good profile picture, your bots will never be unpopular again. Unless they are. Unless you use em dashes. Unless em dashes are part of you and you are part of them, and giving them up would mean giving up yourself. A profile picture is an attempt to make the user see.
Through the profile picture, you see the character. You can see the their decline or development through just the profile picture alone. An image with the right plot and art style can immortalize a bot where writing has failed.
The power lies in visually appealing characters, a memorable, recognizable style, the magic of AI for generating images, or the works of unknowing artists who have just become part of a new beginning.
Unless that's not the case. Unless freeing your bot from the oppression of algorithms and the will of the observer can only be achieved by going further. The character's name is the reader's second step on the beautiful, ugly, dark, light-filled path to interacting with the bot.
It is more often straightforward than not. It can use elaborate font, explaining to the user what the bot is about. Unless it doesn't. Unless you want the user to look down further to read the introduction. Thus, the first paragraph flows into the character description.
What is a character description? A character description can say everything. Or it can say nothing. Ultimately, the responsibility for understanding the intent lies with the user. Ultimately, using a bot means constantly solving comprehension problems. The user must understand that this bot is their bot. After all, the user has already embarked on the path to understanding what this bot is about. After all, only understanding can reveal the true essence of using AI for interactive role-playing. Unless it can't
