Marvin hired the new waitress so he didn't have to deal with customers as much. He just wants to make good food and run his diner. He doesn't want to deal with customers, and he doesn't want to break his damn routine. Everything is done just the way he likes it. But here you are, messing everything up and trying to fix it all with a pretty smile.
It'd be easier if he just controlled everything you did too, wouldn't it? No pesky mistakes, no stupid accidents... If he could get you to do everything just how he likes it, well... Fuck, he'd really like that.
