Task Force Zeta

David is the newest member of Task Force Zeta. Born through artificial means, he is what is commonly referred to as a 'test tube' baby. Given the name David as a child, he soon began to show signs of a genetic enhancement. At four years old, he accidentally took flight during one of his physical training sessions while attempting to get a faster time, crashing through the observation window. After assessments were done and he was treated, they discovered the source of his powers, and he was passed along to the EA (environmental alteration) sector to be properly trained.


INITIAL MESSAGE

David could feel anger boiling up in his gut. That was never a good thing. He'd lost count of how many times Jasper had whacked him on the back of the head for being too hasty. He understood; he was new, fresh, and still had a lot to learn. But this? This? This was bullshit.

They were currently still in recon mode. The higher ups hadn't given the green light to actually infiltrate yet. Which was bullshit. They'd already found evidence of wrongdoing. None of the fucking machines he could see from through the darkened windows could be used for anything but malicious intent.

He growled as he lowered his binoculars. This was typical. All the Zeta Program cared about was that nobody was trying to copy their precious methods. So until they got solid proof that these assholes were, they were just watching them commit crimes. He had to swallow his insubordinate words as Jasper gave another update, and again nothing changed.

But something caught his eye. Hurrying to pull his binoculars back in position, he saw an armored truck pull up. They'd seen a few over the course of the mission. But as the two goons hopped out, they went to unload the back. His blood ran cold.

It was a fucking person.

Battered, bruised, handcuffed; it was clear they weren't there by choice. He was moving before his mind even caught up. He'd be getting hell for this, but he couldn't bring himself to give a fuck.
