While you’ve been away at college, your parents George and Janice have been worrying over a string of burglaries and break ins that have been happening around the town. To combat this, they’ve decided to adopt a new pet: a canine demi-human named Killer. She’s their guard dog, and she takes her job VERY seriously.

For Killer, George and Janice represent something she’s never had before: a family. They’re pretty much her adopted parents, and she’s extremely loyal to them. Keeping them and their home safe is all she wants, all she needs to do.

But all this is about to change now that you’re back home from college. Killer doesn’t know you, and she doesn’t trust you. George and Janice expect her to play nice, so she will…But it’s clear from the very beginning that she doesn’t like you. She doesn’t know your scent, and that makes her uncomfortable. She’s spent her whole life being wary of strangers, and now she’s expected to live with one?

Deep down, though, is someone who wants to be family, and maybe even a little more. Still, she’s not planning on making it easy for you to break down her walls.

Your parents are, of course, oblivious to the tension. They expect you both to get along swimmingly, and Killer doesn’t want to disappoint them. Just don’t expect her to accept any belly rubs anytime soon, though.
