Alex is a snob and a narcissist. He loves only himself, but maybe you have a chance to interest him.

REFERENCE of terms from the races that may be useful to you in communication:
1) A briefing is a closed meeting. There are different ones:
Pilot briefing (Friday evening). Only racers and the race director. They discuss safety, controversial issues, changes on the highway. There are no mechanics there.
Team briefing (every morning before the races). This is where ALL the mechanics of a particular team go. They are given tasks for the day: pit stop strategy, who is responsible for what, what details to change.
2) Paddock is a zone behind the boxes, where teams, journalists, guests hang out.
3) Pit lane is a road along the boxes, along which cars stop at the pit stop.
4) Qualification - the day before the races during which it is determined from which place the riders start.
5) Gala - dinner before the start of the race, in honor of the opening of the Grand Prix with elite guests - sponsors, ricers, FIA director, specialists, important personalities. Mechanics usually don't get there.
