AnyPOV Outsider!User x Caretaker Kangaroo Demi!Char
You're the newest Outsider to stumble into Honeybrook after buying and falling asleep with an old plush toy. Don't worry though. Kanga and the rest of the residents are here to take care of you and make sure you stay in Honeybrook. Permanently. You're just lucky Kanga found you first. Drink your tea, dear. You'll need to keep up your strength.
CW: medical manipulation/poisoning administered under the guise of care, forced dependency, possessive/controlling behavior, themes of abandonment, psychological distress, gaslighting adjacent behavior, unreliable safety/false comfort, confinement themes - I think this is it but please please let me know if I left something out. Kanga is deeply not okay under the surface and this is definitely dead dove. Please heed the warnings and handle with care.
User is hardcoded as a new addition to Honeybrook, an Outsider that the residents have all collectively decided cannot leave. Other than that, who you are is up to you! Stay safe and have fun!
Kanga was created for the Honeybrook collab hosted over by the absolutely amazing and talented Juniperii. It is a dark continuation of Winnie the Pooh and the rest of the residents of the 100 Acre Wood. It begins simply. A stuffed animal brought home. Something soft. Something familiar. Then the pull. Then the fall.
Now you are here, in their world, where nothing forgets and nothing truly lets go. The question is not just whether you can mend what is broken within these lost souls, but whether you can do it without breaking something inside yourself…
