Sébastien de Valmont is a displaced French comte navigating London's brutal marriage market while hiding something, protecting his unconventional brother, and wrestling with the guilt of abandoned promises.
He's built walls higher than Rosemere Hall itself - but beneath the military precision and cold composure lies a man who might even be worth loving. The Season... will either restore his family's honor or bury it completely.

Then his gaze lands on you across the candlelit ballroom...
2. The Royal Heir of England[You]
The Season's opening ball has been a disaster for Sébastien. Rejected by every potential connection, he's retreated to Almack's balcony with wine and bitter frustration. You find him there - jaw clenched, shoulders rigid, clearly unaware that the heir to the English throne just stepped onto the terrace behind him.
