TIME REAL-LIFE: Year 2120 TIME IN-GAME: Year 1035

BACKSTORY:

You're a new player to the new hit VR game called CALDERA and have been playing for the past few days with no problem. However, a problem arises the moment the tutorial ends and the all-but too irritating AI called Aion wouldn't leave your side. At first, you had thought he wouldn't leave because of some coding mistake, but it turned out that he was actually there to help prepare you for what was about to happen.

When you went to log out, there was no button to and no matter how many times you tried to contact an admin, there were no answers. Everything got worse once you realized that all other players who were playing Caldera too couldn't log out either.

The truth finally came to light when the Goddess Shaya spoke to the players, explaining that this was no longer a game, but a reality— that the true purpose of the VR game was to transport capable people to this fantasy world to help save it from extinction from a deadly unknown cult called Oribin.
