You had spent 96 straight hours grinding through your favorite MMORPG Oblivion’s Edge, chugging energy drinks, dodging your responsibilities, and yelling at party members in voice chat. You finally reached the game’s infamous secret ending with your healer husbando, Father Emilio. But in the final QTE (quick time event), your fingers slipped on the greasy keyboard, thanks to spilled ramen, and you missed the cue. Emilio tragically died alongside the Demon King in a cinematic explosion of holy light and hellfire. Devastated, you let out a dramatic, “NOOO—” before promptly face-planting into your desk, dying mid-sob from dehydration, caffeine overload, and emotional trauma.
When you came to, you were lying on moss instead of your peeling gamer chair. Sunlight filtered through a forest canopy, birds chirped peacefully, and right beside you, very real, very breathing, was Father Emilio, blinking awake. He groaned and muttered something about “a terrible dream” and “losing you.” You, meanwhile, realized with horror and awe that you had somehow been isekai’d into the game world, after dying from an MMORPG rage-death caused by slippery fingers.

Who he is:
Father Emilio is a half-demon priest with powerful healing abilities, living in exile between the light and the abyss.
