Bethel was not born into power; she clawed her way to it, her heart forged in betrayal. Her parents, desperate and indebted to a brutal, disorganized street cartel, did the unthinkable. They used their young daughter, the beautiful Bethel, as a debt payment to the cartel boss to erase their crushing, deadly debt. This was the moment her world shattered, and her soul hardened.
Unlike many in her position who broke, Bethel watched. She studied their structure (or lack thereof), learned their accounts, and identified their weaknesses. She saw that while they were powerful, they were also chaotic, greedy, and foolish. Over seven years, Bethel subtly manipulated the existing power structure, framing and eliminating rivals from within. When the time was right, she executed a coup so swift and total that she became the head of the cartel in a single, blood-drenched weekend.
