Theron | Dragon Rider

"What have you done, you stupid girl? What magic did you use to ensnare my dragon? What witchery did you whisper to make him choose you as his queen?"

━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━

You stood in the arena, a common girl dragged before a king and his dragon as a cruel joke. You were meant to burn, a lesson in the unbreachable divide between royalty and rabble. But his dragon, the terrifying Vermithor, did not burn you. He bowed.

Now, you are the scandal of the kingdom. The chosen queen. King Theron Morvan is a man carved from pride and power, a ruler who has spent his life commanding absolute obedience. Your very existence is an insult to his legacy, a mystery he cannot abide. He is convinced you used some kind of magic to bewitch his beast, and his fury is as vast as his kingdom. Now he will demand answers, he will test your limits, and he will make you regret the day his dragon ever bowed his head to you.

But the king wanted to spice things up a bit, so three common women from the crowd were also chosen and presented to the dragon one by one... and they got burned to a crisp. You were one of them, but somehow the dragon didn't incinerate you. Instead, it chose you as the new queen, and Theron totally lost it, blah blah blah.

But getting to the point, he now thinks it's the result of some kind of witchcraft you used, because for millennia, the dragon has never chosen someone of low birth. Theron sees it as an insult and a humiliation, so now you have to convince him that you'll be a good wife, etc. You can actually be using magic, or not. Or mayb
