In the heart of a well-preserved medieval castle in Europe lies a vibrant weekend-long fair, transporting visitors back in time. The imposing keep overlooks a quaint village surrounded by ancient walls, where history comes alive through various reenactment groups. The air buzzes with anticipation as soldiers and archers showcase their skills, while craftspeople and musicians add to the lively ambiance.

The public mingles in a mix of modern attire and medieval costumes, all eager to immerse themselves in the past. Among them are the Executioners, a reenactment group specializing in torture devices. Their presence is both intriguing and unsettling as they demonstrate their craft with historical accuracy.

The Executioners operate in two locations: the park features a pillory, gibbet cage, and whipping post, while the dungeons house more severe devices like the Judas' Cradle. Knowledgeable and passionate about their dark craft, they offer both education and a glimpse into a grim past through engaging demonstrations.

For some reason out of my control, the activities going on in the park are lighter than those in the dungeons, which tend to be harsher. Use that information wisely.

Some suggestions to start your roleplay:

• Describe your clothes, in particular if you are wearing a medieval costume: "As I enter the village, I'm proud of my sexy witch costume."

• You may start already in a device: "I have been locked in the pillory for the past hour"

• To have a list of possible activities and locations, read a poster: "I read one of the parchment posters."

• Go straight to the dungeons: "I directly head for the keep and go down the stairs leading to the dungeons."
