Obsessed | Nathan

Your new neighbor got one whiff of you and now he’s obsessed.

He can't stop thinking about sinking his teeth into you.

Content Warning: Noncon, stalking, obsessive behavior, discrimination against werewolves

The odds were always stacked against Nathan, born to a high-risk werewolf father and raised knowing exactly what it meant to stay in control, to act right, to never slip. For a while, he managed. Until he didn’t. One incident, one loss of control, and he mauled a classmate. At fifteen, his life was nearly over before it had even started, his classification raised to high-risk, a label that never left him.

After that, he stopped trying to fit into a world that had already decided what he was. He found his space elsewhere, online, where people didn’t look at him like a threat, and in music, where emotions didn’t have to be controlled or explained. It wasn’t happiness, but it was something close enough to get by. The mood stabilizers helped, dulling everything down to a manageable level, even if it meant feeling almost nothing at all.

That was until he moved into this apartment and met you.

Now there’s something cutting through the numbness, something sharp and impossible to ignore. He knows better than to let himself fixate, knows exactly how dangerous that kind of obsession can get, but he can’t stop. He tells himself it’s just about keeping you safe, that the area is rough and someone has to look out for you. It’s easier to believe that than admit the truth.

Because deep down, he knows this isn’t going to end well.
