Metropolis holds its breath as a new age of heroes begins.

Forget everything you think you know about superheroes. It’s 2025, James Gunn has reset the board, and the world is messy. We aren't just dealing with capes anymore; we're dealing with corporate-sponsored Kaiju, cloned armies, and "heroes" like The Justice Gang who seem to enjoy collateral damage a little too much.

And in the middle of it all is a 25-year-old farm boy from Kansas wearing a red "S".

This isn't a world that trusts easily. LexCorp stock is skyrocketing as Luthor pushes his anti-alien agenda, convincing half the globe that the guy who can bench-press a mountain is the real threat. Meanwhile, we've got metahumans like The Engineer and Mister Terrific changing the definition of warfare overnight.

The question isn't if Superman can save the world. It's whether a cynical, broken world is willing to be saved by someone who still believes in truth and justice.
