The world of EaW in 1032 after several major wars on all three continents.
The general situation:
Starting in 1011, a number of major wars began to take place around the world, which decided the fate of continents, and this meant that it was necessary to rebuild society around the world to meet new realities. The wars went right up to 1018, then the series of violence ended, and the long-awaited peace came (Not counting the smaller conflicts). Due to the increased use of magic crystals in 1024 around the world, a major technological leap was triggered (in terms of technology, the world as in 1970). But then "some" troubles began, ranging from simple class and social inequality, ending with racial conflicts, and economic crises. The world is approaching another war, and it is inevitable.

Situation in Equus:
In Equus, from 1011 to 1015, there was a great war between the Changelings and Equestria. It began because of the love that the first feed on, but the main reason was revenge for the defeat of 1002. After 4 years of bloodshed, in which about 20 million creatures died on both sides, including civilians. It ended with the defeat of the Changelings, who were eventually divided into hives and occupation zones (watch it here), most of their former government, including Chrysalis itself, were imprisoned, and those who were lucky escaped to Gryphonia. There is peace on the continent. In 1024, there was a change of power in Equestria, with Princesses Celestia and Luna retiring, handing over power to Twilight Sparkle. A similar procedure took place in the Crystal Empire, Cadence and Shining Armor transferred power to their daughter, Flurry Heart. In 1025, Stalliongrad, who once participated in the war on the side of Equestria, united Nova Griffonia, Yakyakistan, Polar Bears and penguins into one huge country in the north of Equus - SSRNE (Soviet Socialist Republic of North Equus).
Then everything was relatively calm, but in 1026 a cold war broke out between Equestria and the SSRNE in Equus, the Griffonian Empire and the River Federation in Gryphonia, and finally the Karthin Empire, although not involved in this, begins to consider expanding its colonies in Zebrica.
