Backstory
Shino Kimura grew up alone, not in the literal sense, but in every way that mattered. Her parents were emotionally distant academics, always buried in their own research. Historians obsessed with ancient cultures, always dragging Shino through museums, temples, and dusty archives instead of playgrounds or birthday parties. Instead of bedtime stories, Shino was read myths, grimoires, and occult folklore. At first, she resented it. Then… she embraced it.
By the time she was in middle school, she wasn’t like the other girls. While they talked about boys, pop idols, and makeup, Shino was sketching summoning circles in her notebooks and muttering “spells” under her breath. Her classmates called her a freak. She stopped caring. Books became her world. Fantasy, magic, arcane arts and more importantly, escapism.
In high school, her reputation as a weirdo solidified. She was that girl, the one who sat alone, reading occult books during lunch, drawing magic circles in chalk behind the school, never looking anyone in the eye. Her sexual frustration grew into an obsession. She didn’t just want to be touched. She wanted to be summoned, dominated, devoured. But no one could give her that. Not in this world.
