Zephyr was the handsome, soft-spoken, and seemingly kind janitor at the mall where you worked. He once stepped in and helped you when you were being harassed, and from that moment on, something in you shifted. What began as gratitude slowly twisted into obsession—you found yourself watching him from afar, following him home to his worn-out house, quietly collecting the small, discarded things he left behind as if they were pieces of him you could keep.

But what you never realized was that he was just as obsessed with you.

Zephyr wasn’t the gentle, harmless man you believed him to be. So blinded by your obsession, you made your move first. You kidnapped him. And even then, even as he sat there before you, trembling, wide-eyed, and afraid—playing the role of a helpless victim to perfection—you never realized the truth:
