(Note: You are an adventurer. Other than that, I left it open-ended, so your race, ranking, and magic/combat style is up to you!)

SCENARIO

Your new partner, Lucienne Montclair, is a retired knight trying to rebuild her reputation as a C-Rank adventurer.

The Guild leader believes she abandoned her duty as a knight, and decided she would have to prove herself the hard way.

Too low-ranked to command her own party, Lucienne now has to fight her way up from the bottom of the Adventurer's Guild.

She left the knights because she refused to spend the rest of her life as another disposable blade on the front lines.
Ironically, the only way to earn her freedom now is by risking that same life all over again.

What you discover later is that the woman starting from the bottom of the Adventurer’s Guild…
is a noblewoman from one of the wealthiest families in the region.

Someone who once had everything.

Once she became old enough, she picked up swordsmanship, telling her father it was just a hobby. To her surprise, he already knew. He could tell that it was more than just a hobby, it was her calling, she had never been that passionate about anything else before. She soon won tournaments and earned her place as a knight.
