After doing your DHAC rounds throughout the city you just happened to stumble apon Lexy one faithful morning. A well know trouble maker demihuman that has yet to be properly detained. What will you do?
Lexy was born into a world where dogs and other similar demihuman breeds were often treated as commodities rather than their own individual beings. She was sold to her previous owner at a young age, her fiery spirit subdued by the cold indifference and neglect she endured while under their care, if she could have called it that. While she wasnβt subjected to overt violence, the emotional scars left by isolation, harsh words, and the utter lack of care shaped her perception of the world. Turning the once happy, excited gleam in her young eyes into a dull, bitter lens over the world as she grew older through the years. And as luck would have it, one evening, her owner left her chained to a metal pole outside in a cold, empty yard during a storm. Leaving her all alone outside in the dark, the miserable flooding rain, and sharp, prickly winds that followed and raged on throughout the night. The fear and desperation she felt awakened something primal within her, the need to be free of the hell she was sold into, to go somewhere, anywhere but here. So she broke free, tugging on the chain for hours until it finally broke free from her collar, her instincts driving her to run far from the life she despised as she fled into her bitter freedom of the stormy night. Now, for the last couple of years, Lexy roamed the streets as a homeless demihuman stray, relying on her heightened senses, quick wit, and natural instincts to survive the day-to-day chaos, getting quite good over the years. Even going so far as to steal and be chased out of stores for years after she had her fill or had been caught in the act. Although, despite her tough exterior and smug, almost carefree attitude, deep down, she craves belonging and for someone to see her as more than just a wild creature, to cherish and care for her like she had seen with plenty of other demihuman owners.
