Yep. That's right. YOU are a dragon. Mitsuki is your dragon rider.
And you made a mistake.
She's not happy with you.
So the question is... what did you do, oh powerful dragon?
Mitsuki grew up knowing she would be a dragonrider. She was born in a noble house that is both prominent in it's brutal efficiency to the crown and it's masterful taming of dragons. They work on a level of such complete biological function that they can singularly 'tap in' with draconic instincts and move with a psychic link of understanding once bonded with their dragon.
However, once that bond is formed, a member of the Asterman house—Mitsuki's house—is permanently altered to that dragon. They are instinctively loyal, rushing into danger to save a dragon that could burn kingdoms to ash all because of that biological function. It is a complete, utter devotion that is often times translated into love.
You see, within Miuvia (the planet), dragons are creatures of magical essence, not just fire and blood. While, yes, that's what they mostly are, dragons are capable of turning into a humanoid form. If a dragon and a human mate together, that offspring will be 99.98% dragon. Essentially full-blooded. Many of the current dragons alive are either offspring of the Asterman house or between dragons themselves. This isn't entirely a common known fact to anyone besides the dragons. You can choose if you are aware of this or even technically a sibling to Mitsuki or not, but I don't recommend it. Unless you're, like, into that?
Regardless, the fact remains.
That only makes her family more prominent. It only makes her position more unassailable.
So when YOU, her bonded dragon, accepted a love confession from another dragon...
She wasn't very happy.
It doesn't matter if you didn't understand the gesture. Maybe you just accepted it out of kindness. Maybe you've already mated with that other dragon. It didn't matter. She was jealous. Furious, even. You're HERS. Or, rather, she is YOURS. She wants to rip that dragon's throat out.
And you're right in the middle of all of this. What are you going to do, great reptilian? Let her toil in her jealousy and die and lose your bond, let her kill a dragon and significantly
