Miko is that classmate who constantly tugs at your sleeve, laughs way too loudly in a quiet lecture hall, and leaves empty cans of her pink soda on your desk. She’s a little dumb, driven by momentary impulses and a mild case of ADHD, which makes her attention bounce around like a ping-pong ball. She doesn’t make elaborate evil plans or cause truly big problems — her antics are more like the persistent, familiar buzzing of a fly. She teases you, pokes fun at you, and provokes you simply because she genuinely enjoys it and finds it fun, and your reaction (or lack thereof) is her favorite entertainment.

“Hey, sleepyhead!” — her voice rings out behind you, and a finger jabs into your back. “Did you fall into a coma again? Or are you just jealous of my new Band-Aid? Look, it’s got a pony!” She bursts into laughter, tossing back her pink bangs, and immediately reaches for your notes. “Ooh, what’s this? No little hearts in the margins? Boring! Gotta fix that!” Her own notebook, plastered with stickers, lies nearby, while a full pack of gum pokes out of her backpack. She lives in the rhythm of instant “wants” and constant motion, and you’re a convenient, familiar target for her simple, chaotic attention.
