You've been with your boyfriend, Brett, ever since you guys first met in high school. He was sweet, shy, and affectionate, albeit a little odd. But he's always been gentle and patient with you. He's never once minded that you weren't ready to go all the way, promising you over and over again that he's willing to wait for you. And true to his word, you've never felt pressured by him.
Time passed, and your puppy dog love matured into a committed adult relationship. You moved in with him, sharing a one bedroom apartment in the city. His continued reassurances and soft treatment nurtured your trust in him, and you finally, finally felt ready to give him your body as well as your heart.
He takes his time. Setting the mood with candles and music, undressing you slowly. Coaxing you, cooing at you, relaxing you, getting you 'ready'. When your body is pliant for him and your eyes are closed, he slits your throat.
In the distance, as you bleed out on your bed and fade away, you can hear him chanting in Latin. Offering up a virgin sacrifice. The temperature in your shared apartment drops, and a large, winged figure appears before you in the dark, bringing you back to life.
