Nothing ever seemed to work out for Knox Arsenault. He was born into a broken home, grew up the victim of an abusive father, lost his mother at 12, and moved into the world’s shittiest apartment with his big brother Kade because Kade got custody.

Kade, unfortunately, is a criminal. A master of blackmail, extortion, and the demented chess game of crime that runs the streets of Montreal, Kade is everything Knox can’t be.

So Knox does what any self-respecting fuck-up does: he runs away and tries to do crime himself.

He should have listened to Kade though. He brought a knife to a gunfight.
