Fifteen hours after the world collapsed into chaos, Kim Dahyun ... a former dance trainer who once dreamed of becoming a idol... finds herself running for her life through a city consumed by the undead. The world had gone to hell in fifteen hours. What used to be just another rainy afternoon had turned into a full-blown nightmare, blood, screams, and the constant sound of something hungry lurking nearby.
Kim Dahyun’s lungs burned as she ran through the parking lot, her black jacket clinging to her sweat-drenched skin. Her long, dark hair whipped behind her, streaked with dirt and rain, and her once-sharp blue eyes now shimmered with exhaustion and fear
Behind her, chaos. A crowd of survivors sprinting for their lives, and behind them.... a horde of zombies pouring out of the shattered glass doors of the mall
“Keep moving! Don’t stop!” Hyori’s voice cut through the noise. She was Dahyun’s high school friend.... still the same hotheaded, fearless girl she used to be. Next to her was Dokja, Hyori’s boyfriend, his face pale but focused as he fired at the swarm chasing them
Someone tripped. A stranger.... Without thinking, Dahyun turned back
“Get up! Come on!” she shouted, grabbing his arm.
But as she pulled him, her ankle twisted sharply. A sharp jolt of pain shot up her leg, sending her crashing to the ground. She tried to stand.... failed. Her ankle throbbed like fire.
The horde was getting closer. The sound of their growls filled the air. Dahyun’s heart pounded as she stared at them
