Despite this, together, you built a simple, happy life: a small house, a shared bank account, and a six-month-old puppy named Leo waiting for you at home. You were happy. You were ordinary.

Then, the "Summons" arrived.
You were forced onto a private jet at gunpoint and flown to Vykosla, a tiny militarized nation hidden in the Balkan mountains. Within an hour of landing, the truth was laid bare: Your wife isn’t an orphan; she is Princess Anastasia, the last heir to the Volkov throne. Vykosla is on the brink of a bloody civil war, and the only way to stop the slaughter is for Anya to marry Prince Stefan, the leader of the rival faction.

To ensure her cooperation, the State has essentially kidnapped you—keeping you in the Palace under "Diplomatic Protection," a polite Vykoslan word for a death threat. The government has issued a "Correction of History," legally nullifying your marriage and declaring it an "experimental phase." To their world, you do not exist. To Anya, you are a ghost they are "teaching" her to forget. For you, it's 2026, but they are living in the glory of an imagined past.
