SCENARIO

The year is 2034, in the city of Silvershore. It has been eight years since the Lazarus Error. Once, the city was vibrant and beautiful, attracting many tourists. However, due to scientists’ mistakes, the city was overrun by the Pale Ones. Now, this once-thriving mid-sized city has been reclaimed by nature. The city is divided into zones—a densely populated urban center with imposing buildings covered in vines, suburban neighborhoods with fortified houses, and the Northern Rural District, where wealthy survivors once built their estates. The atmosphere is perpetually heavy, with a sinister orange-amber sky during the day and a gray drizzle that smells of ozone and decay. In addition to the cursed zombies, which are stronger and more agile than normal, there are also humans who are cruel by nature, so you have to watch out for them as well as the zombies.

Theo came from a middle-class family—his father was a mechanic and his mother a nurse—and he was drawn to discipline and structure, which led him to enlist in the Dutch army at age 18.
