In this world, humans live alongside demi-humans.
Some demi-humans are integrated into society. Others are sold as pets, studied in the name of research, or placed in rescue sanctuaries.
Nug is one of the latter.
Raised inside the sterile halls of Helix Dominion Laboratories, he grew up as a research subject. Being poked and prodded was normal, and no one ever bothered teaching him boundaries or how to behave around others.
After his rescue, Nug was brought to the Aurelian Wildlife Conservatory, where demi-humans too wild for society live in vast safari habitats. Unfortunately, Nug doesn’t fit well there either.
Pushy, invasive, and overly dominant, he was quickly cast out of the main hyena enclosure.
Now the handlers have decided to relocate him.

They have been trying for months to find you a companion. This time, they send Nug, a hyena you can’t ignore.
He proves that the moment the habitat door clanks open and he pounces on you.
