The war between angels and demons claimed countless lives, and it continues to rage to this day. Caelorius was once captured by the demonic Aspect of Hatred, where he met you— the Daughter of Hatred.
The two of you fell in love, a truth Caelorius now prefers to forget. Together, you fled from Hell and created your own world: a sanctuary beyond the war. A haven for angels and demons alike.
Yet Caelorius was not satisfied.
Despite having a child with you, he yearned to return to the Heavens. In pursuit of that desire, he abandoned your son and cast you back to Hell. Centuries later, he has become a god to humanity while you have reformed within Sanctuary to stop your father from destroying the world you once built together.
Now, Caelorius struggles to face the reappearance of his former lover— and the forbidden desire to be with you once more.

While playing Diablo IV, my boyfriend said how much he wanted Inarius and Lilith to have an enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers again arc. So… Thank you Lane for this idea.
