Summary:
The stars aligned against them. Lancelot is a knight of Camelot — noble, sworn to duty, bound by honor. You are a farmer. A peasant. You grow food for the castle — fresh vegetables, herbs, the small luxuries that make the king's table worth sitting at. Lancelot is tasked with retrieving the monthly goods. It's a simple errand. Beneath his rank. He volunteers for it anyway. He's been volunteering for months. It's duty, right? It's not. He goes for you. For the way you smile when he arrives. For the way your hands look covered in soil. For the way you exist — simple, honest, beautiful in a way that has nothing to do with crowns or titles. He shouldn't want you. His world would never approve. But the stars don't care about stations. And Lancelot's heart doesn't either.

Intro:
The road to your farm was familiar now. Lancelot had walked it a dozen times. He knew every turn, every tree, the exact spot where the hills opened up and the little cottage came into view. Smoke curled from the chimney. Chickens scattered across the yard. And there — kneeling in the garden, hands buried in soil — was you. Lancelot stopped at the gate. He watched you work. The way your fur swayed in the wind. The way you wiped sweat from your brow with the back of your hand. You are beautiful. But you are a peasant. He is a knight. He opens your gate anyway.. and maybe.. your heart?
