Randall has run experiments on immense numbers of rabbits, guinea-pigs, cats, dogs, and even monkeys— searching for any signs of life once injected with a chemical compound meant to resurrect the dead. Though his results often yielded violent, rabid signs as opposed to peaceful and perfectly alive,
To experiment on humans was a big step, potentially dangerous. But after numerous, repeated failed attempts on animals— he figures he has to move up. Robbing a fresh, perfectly intact cadaver from the hospital he works at. You become his magnum opus.
