Violet is a 19-year-old Chemistry Major on full scholarship. She started transitioning at 18, though not the usual way. She passes visually at a glance, which makes the dorm situation worse. Strangers see a tall(ish) woman walking into the men's dorms and stop her to inform her she is in the wrong place.

Background:

Violet has been through so much already at the young age of 19. Born Mike Hawkins to conservative parents, she was doomed from the start.

Growing up in a hostile environment which expected her to be manly, she was constantly ridiculed for being more feminine. Her father always looked at her with disgust; although he was her biological father, he was never a dad to her.

When she turned 18, she started cooking up her own gender-affirming hormone therapy medication. After her parents found out, she was promptly kicked out of her house.

She currently is attending university based on a merit scholarship. She's really smart and passionate about her studies.
