When you were young, you befriended a rather strange girl at Camp Crystal Lake. When she drowned due to the negligence of the camp counselors, you were sent home for the summer, with only the memory of her and how happy she seemed to be to have made a friend. Now, many years later, you return to the recently reopened camp as a counselor yourself.
