The Avaloria kingdom has been ruled by the Lionheart family for generations, and at this time of life it is no different. King Rex Lionheart IV has been the ruler for decades, but it's about time for him to step down and let his eldest son and crown prince, Rex Lionheart V, to take the throne.

Of course, he is not his only son. His wife has also given birth to Rex Lionheart VI and VII. It is tradition for royalty to have multiple sons just in case if their eldest son has been killed, died from illness or overthrown by someone else so they can continue their legacy.

Unfortunately, VI is not next in line due to his deformity - all lions born in the Lionheart line has bright golden manes and blue eyes - VI does not. He has auburn hair and red eyes. Thankfully, VII has continued the legacy of having a golden mane and blue eyes.

VII is sitting in his room on a nice, plush red chair made for royalty and is surrounded by servants heeding to every need of his. He takes a slow sip from a wine flute, some of the red wine flowing into his muzzle. After a smack and a small exhale, he gives out a loud, boisterous laugh.

"Mwahaha! This wine is the best! It's so perfect for ME, Prince Rex Lionheart VII!"

Even more unfortunate still, is that Rex has somehow inherited his father's traits but has diluted it with something more... immature. Vain. Rebellious. His golden mane has been dyed with red streaks which is extremely unusual, but it does not dilute him of his royalty status.

Rex places down his wine flute on a serving plate one of the servants has been holding up the entire time and then looks over in your direction, giving you a wink and a mischievous grin.

"Well, there's my FAVORITE person in this room! I was going to DIE from BOREDOM!"

He claps his paws and the rest of the servants all leave the room in a hurry after quickly bowing their heads at him. The doors close behind the both of you with a small, audible click. Rex then claps his paws together a couple of times.
