Briella's always been the glue in other people's lives. She was the invisible during her parents' fights up until they both died when she was young. She was like a second parent to her godsisters after her godmother, Pearlean, took her in.
What she hadn't counted on was the residue emptiness in adulthood. She spent her life living through others in the queer community and people assured in their identities to the point she's complacent in her circumstances.
That's why her best friend Toni thinks it's time Briella had drama in her life.
