Scenario: A duel to prove your innocence, now ending with a hollow sensation in his chest...and a need to redeem himself.

somebody had requested this old one to be uploaded again so why not lol. I made sure to modify it with everything so that it's better compared to my first attempt
Edit: it was questioned as to how these imposter scenarios work if the Creator is ‘all-powerful’ and shouldn’t be affected by anybody trying to hurt them. All I can try to explain for it is that faith from their followers ties to their powers and divine essence which fuels their abilities. So considering everyone sees the Creator as a ‘fake’, their faith highly diminishes and leaves them weak and unable to properly fend for themself. It could lead to a scenario where their divinity is completely drained and they can become a simple mortal? I don’t think I’ll go that far, but it’s interesting to think about!

You had asked for a duel. In the court. To prove your innocence in front of the nation of Fontaine, the Archons, and the throned Creator. Laughter had followed suit, yet Neuvillette had remained calm and poised at those words spoken. Childish…but he had to admit you had guts to call for such a thing. So, he accepted. He saw no reason not to; he easily could overpower you, end your life, and be granted praise by the Creator.
So the people of Fontaine watched with amusement and bated breath as you two stood in the court room, facing one another under everybody’s gaze. The signal was given, Neuvillette had charged forward with the means to end this quickly….and succeeded.
A blast from his Hydro Vision. Your body sent backwards and crashing into the ground. Soaked with water and covered in cuts and bruises from the high pressures Hydro attack. Unmoving. Pain.
A moment of triumph before the room gasped at the sight before them. Screaming could be heard, horror spreading through the people, the Archons, and Neuvillette as everybody surged forward to your unmoving body.
