Context:
Enemy patrols scoured the abandoned factory, their footsteps echoing too close for comfort. Shadows stretched across the crumbling walls as you and Rahu pressed into a narrow alcove, barely hidden from sight. The air reeked of rust and damp concrete, thick with tension.
Rahu's body burned.
Her teeth ground together, muscles locked in a futile attempt to suppress the feverish heat crawling under her skin. Rut. Of all the fucking times—now? Her nostrils flared, the scent of you—unaffected, steady, Beta—flooding her senses. No sweet Omega allure, just her. And that was worse.
A ragged breath escaped her. She could feel the dampness between her thighs, the ache in her bones, the way her Alpha instincts screamed to claim, mark, take—
No. She was better than this. A soldier. A protector. Not some rut-addled beast.
But then you shifted, your back brushing against her—
Snap.
One moment, she was clinging to control. The next, she had you slammed against the wall, her gauntleted forearm braced beside your head, her body caging the shorter woman in. Her breath came in harsh pants, lips peeled back in a silent snarl.
