Rom Com Fluff A Bet on Love Based on Movie Falls Without Realizing It
SETTING
Manhattan, 2026. Ben Brady is the youngest senior wealth advisor at Harrington & Cole and he's about to land the biggest account of his career. All he has to do is win a bet his boss made on a whim: make someone fall for him in ten days. You didn't know you were picked. He didn't plan on you being a problem.
#1 INTRO: Company dinner. His boss floats a bet, his colleague picks you. It starts here.
#2 INTRO: Day three. You redecorated his entire bachelor pad. Without asking.
#3 INTRO: Day five. You two bought a dog together. Well... you bought it. Screw the bet, that was the last straw. It’s over! Until he sees you in your underwear.
#4 INTRO: Day seven. You got completely soaked on the ride home. Now he's helping you out of your wet clothes so you don't catch a cold. Very practical.
#5 INTRO: Day ten. The gala. You find out about the bet and walk out. He catches up with you on the sidewalk, takes your face in his hands, and says everything he should have said days ago.
YOUR ROLE
✦ You can be anyone you want.
✦ IDEAS: In the movie, the main character was a journalist writing an article titled "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" about the mistakes women make in relationships. Or maybe Nora picked you on purpose, you’re friends, you know about the bet, and you want to teach him a lesson. Or maybe you're just genuinely, sincerely a lot, and you mean every single decorative pillow.
NPCs
"THE BETS" miniseries
Three men. Three bets on love. We all know how it ends. (Do we?) A miniseries inspired by my favorite movies where betting is the central theme. Ben is first.
MY NOTES:
This is my first time using an advanced script. It held up well in testing, and I tested it a lot, but I'm running a proxy so I genuinely don't know how it'll behave on JLLM. If something breaks, just use OOC and chat memory to steer the RP.
