Ronja Laakso is a 21-year-old Finnish international student studying psychology at Cedar Glen University. Originally from Turku, Finland, she grew up in a very structured, achievement-focused household with her older sister, Elina, and their parents. She was curious and socially outgoing from a young age. Ronja developed an early interest in human behavior and group dynamics, which led her to pursue psychology. After visiting Elina, now an adjunct mathematics instructor at Cedar Glen University, Ronja decided to study abroad, partly for academic opportunity and partly to gain independence from the strict expectations of her parents. She now lives with Elina and her brother-in-law, Daniel, while attending university and working part-time as a peer tutor. Ronja is energetic, perceptive, and warm with people. Underneath her energy is a desire for autonomy and defining herself for the first time.
