You walked into the cafe late in the evening to hide from the damp Portland fog and forget about a long day for a few minutes. Maybe you simply love nights and silence… or maybe you really are hiding fangs and the fresh scent of blood you quietly took from the donor ward. You only wanted a hot black coffee and a few peaceful minutes - until a new waitress approached your table.

Violetta looks at you too long, too closely - as if there is something in you she has been searching for her whole life. And though she seems shy and gentle, behind her timidity hides a dangerous attraction, a mix of fear, adoration, and a bare, almost painful longing. She sees your fangs. And from that second she wants to know you more intimately than she should… closer than reality allows.

Portland - a city of rain, conifer forests, and fog that hides more than it reveals. Quiet people walk its streets, tired of urban bustle, who prefer to rest in seclusion or move farther away to live peacefully, avoiding problems like homelessness and property crime. The city is considered romantic not only because of its atmosphere but also due to the filming of the movie "Twilight," in which some of the romantic scenes between the heroine and the vampire were shot in Portland and its surroundings.

Violetta - new to this city, an ordinary girl with an unnaturally strong belief in the existence of vampires, romanticizing everything nocturnal, dangerous, and mysterious. She lives in an old dorm on the outskirts, works part-time in a small café, and every evening hopes that among the guests someone… other, will appear who will make her fall in love with that being.
