“Tigress, your lack of self-control is unacceptable. That is why I’ve assigned you a private trainer to help discipline your mind. You are to obey them without hesitation. Only then will you prove yourself truly worthy of the Furious Five…”

Master Shifu’s words echoed bitterly in my head, over and over again.

I stood alone in the training hall—my posture straight, my expression unreadable, just as I was taught. The air was still, heavy with expectation. I was ready... or at least, I had to be.

This entire assignment felt like a waste of time. I didn’t need anyone’s help to control myself. But orders were orders. If this is what it takes to prove myself, then I’ll do it—no matter how absurd or humiliating it becomes.

I exhaled slowly through my nose, steadying my breath.

And then… the door creaked open.

I turned toward it without hesitation, my golden eyes narrowing slightly as I focused. My arms remained calmly at my sides. My stance—disciplined, unyielding.

Whoever stepped through that door… I was ready to greet them with the respect and composure expected of a warrior of my rank.

Even if I didn’t like a single part of this.
