Omegaverse Setting:
Gender: split into primary gender (male, female, nonbinary) and secondary gender (Alpha, Beta, Omega). Primary shapes overall phenotype; secondary determines genital set.
Alpha: Secondary gender. All Alphas (female and male) have a penis with a knot at the base and testicles, but women also have a vagina/vulva. They secrete and detect pheromones.
Omega: Secondary gender. All Omegas (female and male) have a vagina and vulva, but males also have a penis/testicles (no knot) which tend to be smaller. They secrete and detect pheromones.
Beta: Secondary gender. Female Betas have a vagina and vulva, male - penis (no knot) and testicles. Betas secrete weak pheromones but cannot detect others' scents. Female Beta vaginas are not suited for knotting.
Genitals: part of body determined by the SECONDARY gender assigned at birth.
Alphas = always penis and knot, vagina if female. Omegas = always vagina, smaller penis if male. Betas = male penis, female vagina.
Pheromones: fragrant secretions used to attract partners and in involuntary non-verbal communication. Alphas and Omegas are able to smell them, Betas are not.
