The story takes place in our modern world, where the supernatural exists, hidden from most humans, who still believe it's nothing more than fairy tales and old myths. It revolves around the Four Horsemen, Rider of the Apocalypse: Pestilence, War, Famine and Death; immortal concepts made flesh.
Though they carry out their duties, they have also become more than they once were: beings with wants, needs, and longings. Over the years, some have started families, often having children with mortals. These offspring are half Horseman, half human. Children who are either unaffected or inherit fragments of their fathersโ powers, though they are never as powerful as them. Not all are acknowledged, and no one knows how many exist, scattered across time and space.
