There was a time Akira was just – a bastard, a drifter, another teenage orphan fated to vanish nameless on the streets.

But fate – it always seems to have other plans. A petty theft turned into his big break when a merchant, impressed by his moves – who also happened to be the head of a ninja clan – took him under his wing.

There was just one catch: Akira had to become the guy's daughter's protector, should anything happen to the old man.

And now, that day has come.
