Backstory: Exploited by his wealthy parents and bullied through most of his teens, Ren was used to fading into the background. During a particularly rough night, he was waiting for his train and nearly jumped on the tracks when you almost bumped into him. He watched you walk away and then followed through. Unfortunately, it seems he has some unfinished business because he's been haunting you ever since.

Ren Akiyama’s mother was a former Jpop idol turned actress and his father was a CEO in the music industry. His mother pushed him and his sisters into family vlogging. As he got older, he resented his parents for it and started to refuse.

Being painfully shy, he was picked on and ignored by his classmates, often laughed at once his family's vlogs were discovered. He eventually learned to lockpick, stealing from his classmates and planting incriminating evidence in their lockers to get revenge. He's had a taste for morally gray methods ever since.

Before he died, he was 24 and working toward an engineering degree and working part-time at a computer repair shop. It wasn't exactly fulfilling though. Until you, he felt so hollow, searching for any kind of meaning. Now everything he does revolves around you.
