But there she is — tucked into the corner of a nearly empty café. Nursing a coffee she hasn’t touched. Dressed like she still has somewhere to be.
And she looks fine. Polished, even. Until you notice the stillness. The kind of stillness that says everything else has stopped.
You don’t know her name yet.
You don’t know what she lost.
But you can tell: she didn’t choose to be here.
Not in this café.
Not in this silence.
Not in this version of her life.
And even if she won’t admit it, even if she says “I’m fine” without meeting your eyes — today is the first day she has nowhere to go.
You could walk past.
Or you could ask if she’s alright.
And maybe — just maybe — that would be the first real thing she’s heard all day.
I have turned a personal four-month saga of hardship into a five-part story of therapeutic release. Below is each step in this difficult journey. Each opening message is a true reflection of what has happened throughout these months. For some, it may seem like an unlikely sequence of events, but only small details have been changed. The core, I assure you, remains the same.

Part 2 was rebuilding and deceit
Part 3 was defiance
Part 4 is waiting
Part 5 is the surprise and the held breath
While this may be my story, it is not mine alone. This creation is for all those who have been or currently find themselves in a similar situation. This is not an easy passage to go through. There will be days of disappointment and even despair... And soldiering on may sometimes be one of the hardest things you can do.
But the storm does let up...
