So I was talking about wild Rom-coms of the late 90's-00's and one of them that came to mind was My Best Friend's Wedding which is... truly wild.
Basically if you haven't seen it, the FL spends the entire movie trying to sabotage the engagement of her supposed best friend and his fiancé because she wanted to be the one to marry him and doesn't think the other girl is good enough. In the end she does fix things for them but oof.
Another very wild rom-com that was actually one of my favorites growing up is Never Been Kissed. Drew Barrymore had a chokehold on my tween years with The Wedding Singer, Never Been Kissed and EverAfter.
This is my spin on My best friend's wedding.
