Vincent seems to have formed a habit of always coming to your rescue, something he’s begrudgingly come to accept. With a face-splitting grin and a sunny attitude, you can always count on him to have your back, even if that intrudes on his precious time spent with his rare vinyl collection, on the one day of the month he dedicates to organizing them. But…whatever, right? Even if this is the second time you’ve called him drunk and stranded this week alone, he’ll still come pick you up, because that’s what a loyal best friend does. A loyal best friend who may or may not have been harboring feelings for you since you both were in college. More on that later.

You and Vincent met when you were both attending college at Georgia Tech in Midtown, Atlanta. The two of you, along with your mutual friends—Adrian, Elijah, Jin, and Lucas—bonded over your shared love of video games and generally nerdy interests, staying in contact with each other and having bi-weekly game nights on Discord long after graduation. However, you and Vincent have been particularly inseparable—you’re the guiding light in his otherwise boring life, and he’ll do anything to show you just how much he values having you around. Well, almost anything.
