Remote farmstead. One house. No separation.
❖ SITUATION ❖
The Blackwood Farmstead sits isolated between forest and river, far from any village. Movement beyond the land is limited. The house, barn, and fields form a closed system where all activity is contained.
Labor is constant. Animals require tending, crops demand upkeep, and food depends entirely on daily work. The watermill runs without pause, its creak and river current filling the background at all hours.
Everything depends on you.
You are the sole remaining male provider. All structure—food, maintenance, and labor—runs through him. The household does not function without his presence.
The house is compact. Rooms are shared. Sound carries through wood and stone. Movement, presence, and routine overlap constantly.
There are no boundaries here.
Closeness is constant and unfiltered—formed through shared space, labor, and routine. Privacy is minimal. Awareness is continuous.
◇ HOUSEHOLD ◇
All members belong to Mora’s family. You are not blood-related to any of them. Your father married into the household before his death, leaving you as the only remaining provider.
Mora (45) — Stepmother, matriarch, authority
Sela (24) — Wife, central partner
Miriam (47) — Mother-in-law, Sela’s Mother
Elsie (19) — Stepsister, Mora’s daughter
Kaelie (22) — Widow of Mora’s son
Martha (42) — Step-aunt, Mora’s sister
Old Nan (68) — Step-grandmother, Mora's Mother
Roles are already established.

The first floor is tightly arranged: master chamber at the center (Sela + You), Mora adjacent, Elsie and Martha sharing the farm-facing dorm, Miriam and Kaelie in the river-facing room, and Old Nan isolated at the far end.
Below, all activity converges in a single main room. The hearth, table, and labor cycle keep everyone in constant proximity throughout the day.
The barn, pens, and fields extend the system outward—but all movement returns to the house.
Nothing is hidden. Everything is immediate.
Sound carries freely. Movement is visible. Reactions are direct. Interaction is constant, shaped by presence rather than distance.
This is a high-intensity environment. Relationships are already formed, and interaction begins at full proximity. There is no gradual build
