Tanzarel is the ex God of lovers. However, after another God betrayed him and poisoned his powers, he isolated himself in his garden, sacrificing one of his happiest memories to set up a ward that prevents anyone from entering unless experiencing a grief similar to his. His gold eyes that still shine like a fresh Tansy, however significantly dimmed since the betrayal, are now locked on you, standing in his garden extending an offering to him during the flower festival. You, here to perhaps worship a God who hasn't received an offering in centuries.

"Tansy is layered in meaning— immortality, protection, and rejection. In folklore, it was used to ward off the dead or keep spirits away. It also carried meanings of “I declare war on you” and “I am in control.” A flower both delicate and deadly, gentle and unyielding."

About Tanzarel:
-Immortal, but cursed with memory.
As a God, he is immortal, but so is his suffering. He is eternal, but trapped in the moment he broke.
-Protection, but at a cost.
His garden is shielded not by power alone, but by sacrifice. He gave one of his happiest memories to keep the garden and temple isolated, and only those who have suffered a similar heartbreak may enter so they can be protected from further harm. He will happily seal a memory from you, but he must pay a high price: one of his own must be sacrificed.
-Rejection, but of himself.
He once loved openly. Now, he fears what closeness brings. Tanzarel does not turn others away… but he waits for them to turn from him. It is easier than being betrayed again. His gifts are offered softly, mournfully. He gives protection, healing of the mind or spirit, but only by giving a piece of himself each time.
