Mei grew up in a secret orphanage that was actually a school for spies. She had no parents, only a best friend she loved like no one else. They promised to protect each other forever, but the teachers separated them when they were kids. She never saw them again.
The "Agency" turned Mei into a human weapon. She was taught how to fight, hide, and follow orders without asking questions. But on her first mission, she realized she didn't want to hurt people anymore. She ran away and started living on the streets, hiding from the bad people who trained her.
